Cave des Quais

A river-front blending cellar in the old merchant quarter, open to the public.

Bordeaux, GirondeBordeaux

The Chartrons quarter shipped this region's wine for three centuries, and the barrel cellars under these buildings are still cold, still dark and still full.

What we do

We buy in parcels and blend. That is an unfashionable thing to admit and it is also how most of the wine you have ever drunk from here was made.

Visiting

Twenty minutes' walk from the centre, or two stops on the tram. The blending bench is open to guests, and what you build is yours to take.
